The Jury
European Die Casting Award 2022
The die-casting molding process is diverse, innovative, meets high quality standards and is particularly efficient. Many components in machines and even everyday objects are made by die casting. Many more products could be made even better by die casting parts. In order to show customers in the industry and the general public what die casting can do, the Association of German Die Casting Companies (VDD) is organizing the 1st European die casting competition together with the EUROGUSS trade fair.
The award is given to the best die-cast products made of aluminum, magnesium and zinc. The competition entries are examined individually in the materials and evaluated with regard to innovation, quality, economy, resource-efficient construction and degree of difficulty. The three best entries for each material will then be awarded. The evaluation and selection of the castings will be carried out by a competent jury from research and practice on October 7th, 2021.
